“Despite being matched so well with the Chicken Biryani and the Naan by itself, the same honey and cooked peach type of tertiary flavour from the perfectly timed ageing of the wine didn’t pair with the Korma and the Massala at all; the nuttiness, the creaminess and the spiciness from the thick sauce kills the wine completely. On a hindsight, a pint of Kingfisher draught lager should do a fairer job.”
